3-Day Morocco Atlas Mountains Trekking Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Tizi Mzik – Azib Tamsoult

Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1,740m).
Trek up to visit the Imlil waterfalls.
Ascend to Tizi Mzik pass (2,489m).
Descend to Azib Tamsoult summer houses.
Continue to the Azzaden Valley.
Stay near wild summer fields and terraces.
Overnight in a Berber guest house.
Walking duration: 6–7 hours.

Day 2: Azib Tamsoult – Azzaden Valley – Ait Eissa Village

Trek from Azib Tamsoult to Tizi Oussem and the Azzaden Valley (2,100m).
Visit the big waterfalls in the morning.
Enjoy lunch amidst the stunning surroundings.
Trek along the Azzaden Valley (1,900m).
Pass azzibs, cultural terraces, and picturesque landscapes.
End the day in the Berber village of Ait Eissa.
Stay in a guest house with steam bath and shower facilities.
Walking duration: 5 hours.

Day 3: Ait Eissa Village – Tizi Ouidid Pass – Imlil – Marrakech

Trek over the Tizi Ouidid Pass (2,200m).
Enjoy fantastic views of the Matat Valley.
Have lunch in Agrsiwal.
Continue to Imlil to end the trek.
Transfer back to Marrakech (approximately 1.5 hours by car).
Walking duration: 5–6 hours.
