Day 1: Arrival in Mhamid – Start of Trek
- Arrive in Mhamid, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
- Meet your guide and camel team.
- Begin trekking across a rocky desert plateau.
- Pass small oases and scattered tamarisk trees.
- Set up your first camp under the stars.
- Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.
Day 2: Mhamid – Oued Naam
- Load the camels and continue trekking through the desert.
- Walk along a dry riverbed to Oued Naam.
- Enjoy the refreshing water at the famous well.
- Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
- Set up camp near the well.
- Enjoy the sunset over the dunes.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 3: Oued Naam – Dunes of Bougarne
- Trek across a mix of rocky desert and sandy plains.
- Pass nomadic camps along the way.
- Arrive at the picturesque dunes of Bougarne.
- Climb the dunes to watch the sunset.
- Settle into camp.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 4: Dunes of Bougarne – Erg Chegaga
- Enjoy a peaceful morning and witness a magical sunrise over the dunes.
- Traverse expansive sandy plains.
- Approach the towering Erg Chegaga dunes.
- Enjoy breathtaking views and explore the dunes.
- Settle into your camp for the night.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 5: Erg Chegaga – Return to Mhamid
- Enjoy breakfast and prepare for the return journey.
- Travel by 4x4 vehicle back to Mhamid.
- Pass through unique desert landscapes and small villages.
- End your trek with fond memories of your Sahara adventure.
