Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora – Faija
- Depart from Marrakech at 8 AM.
- Drive through the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m).
- Enjoy panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains.
- Travel through Ouarzazate and Zagora.
- Pass lush palm groves and charming villages.
- Set up camp at Faija for your first overnight stay.
Day 2: Faija – Oum Laachar Pass – Oued Mhasser
- Load the camels and begin your hike.
- Cross the Oum Laachar Pass.
- Explore a dry riverbed and a hidden oasis.
- Arrive at your camp by the riverbank of Oued Mhasser.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 3: Oued Mhasser – Chegaga
- Walk along the Oued Mhasser river.
- Traverse a rocky desert.
- Approach the majestic dunes of Chegaga.
- Camp on a plateau with magical sunset views.
- Enjoy a traditional dinner under the starlit sky.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 4: Dunes of Chegaga – Dunes of Bougarne
- Witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes.
- Continue across a dry lake and rocky desert.
- Pass nomadic camps and herds of goats.
- Arrive at the dunes of Bougarne.
- Enjoy panoramic sunset views.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 5: Dunes of Bougarne – Oued Naam
- Trek through a rocky desert plateau.
- Reach Oued Naam, famous for its well.
- Camp near the well and enjoy a refreshing wash.
- Trekking duration: 5 hours.
Day 6: Oued Naam – Mhamid – Marrakech
- Depart early and trek through small dunes and Tamaris forests.
- Reach Mhamid, the last village before the vast Sahara.
- Say goodbye to the camel team.
- Drive back to Marrakech via Zagora and Ouarzazate.
- Overnight in Marrakech.
- Trekking duration: 4 hours.
Day 7: Transfer to Marrakech airport for your departure flight.
- End of your Sahara trekking adventure in Chegaga.
