5 Days from Marrakech to Erg Chebbi

Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou – Skoura (5-hour drive)

  • Pick-up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
  • Drive towards the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m).
  • Enjoy scenic views of the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages.
  • Visit the Kasbah Telouet, the former residence of the Glaoui Pacha.
  • Explore the Kasbah Telouet, including the Harem and reception hall.
  • Continue to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Overnight stay in Skoura.

Day 2: Skoura – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi (5-hour drive)

  • Visit the Skoura palm grove and witness the ingenious distribution of water.
