Discover Morocco: 4-Day Tour from Agadir to the Sahara
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine
- Morning: Depart from Agadir and travel to Taroudant.
- Explore the historic city of Taroudant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its 16th-century walls and the Palace of the Pacha.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Taliouine, a town renowned for saffron production.
- Visit the Kasbah of Taliouine (if accessible).
- Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Taliouine.
Day 2: Taliouine – Taznakt – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
- Morning: Depart from Taliouine and travel to Taznakt.
- Visit a Berber carpet cooperative to see traditional rug-making techniques.
- Continue to Foum Zguid, a gateway to the Sahara Desert.
- Afternoon: Arrive at Erg Chegaga, one of the largest sand dunes in Morocco.
- Enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight stay in a nomad tent.
- Experience Sahrawi music under the stars.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga – M’hamid – Zagora – Ouarzazate
- Morning: Enjoy a short camel ride in the desert near M'hamid, the "Gate of the Desert."
- Have lunch in Zagora and visit the ancient Quranic library in Tamegroute.
- Explore Tamegroute, known for its beautiful green pottery.
- Continue to the Draa Valley and check in to a Riad within the historic Kasbah of Tamnougalt.
- Enjoy dinner at the Riad.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Agadir or Marrakech
- Morning: Depart from Ouarzazate and travel to Agdez.
- Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a beautifully preserved ancient Berber kasbah.
- Enjoy lunch.
- Return to Agadir or Marrakech in the evening (optional).
